Goal. At the end of round 6 (year 1970), the player with the most cash wins.
Each round. You're dealt building cards (where you can build) and shop tiles (what you can build). Then everyone trades. Then you place shops on your buildings. Then you collect income.
Building businesses. Two of the same shop type on adjacent buildings form one larger business. Each shop type has a max size (Photo/Tea/Sea = 3; Jeweller/Fish/Florist = 4; Take-Out/Laundry/Dim Sum = 5; Antiques/Bakery/Restaurant = 6). A complete business of the max size pays the highest income.
Trading is the heart of the game. Anything goes — money, buildings, tiles, promises. Trades are binding only when both sides accept.
